Zoom keyboard shortcuts for Mac
44 shortcuts · Updated
These are the default Zoom keyboard shortcuts on macOS, taken from Zoom's official hot keys support article. They work in the Zoom desktop client for Mac - the meeting controls in particular (mute, video, share) are worth learning so you stop hunting for buttons mid-call. Every one of them can be reviewed or rebound under Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts.
Nothing matches - try fewer letters, or an action word like "close" or "split".
Or stop looking them up. Super Shortcuts puts the Zoom commands you actually use one hyper key away: hold it, see every command for the app you're in, release a key to run it. No memorizing - the cheat sheet is the shortcut.

Frequently asked questions
How do I see or customize keyboard shortcuts in Zoom?
In the Zoom desktop client, click your profile photo, choose Settings, then open Keyboard Shortcuts. Every hot key is listed there, and you can click any binding to record a new one.
Can Zoom shortcuts work when another app is focused?
Yes - in Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts, check Enable Global Shortcut next to a hot key. That lets you mute or unmute with ⌘⇧A even while you are in your notes or browser.
Which Zoom shortcuts should I learn first?
Mute (⌘⇧A), video (⌘⇧V), and screen share (⌘⇧S) - the three buttons you otherwise chase with the mouse on every call. Holding Space to talk while muted is the sleeper hit.
